What is Sunekos?

At Enhanced Aesthetics Newry we are excited to offer Sunekos. Sunekos is a relatively new treatment and is touted as the new gold standard to rejuvenate the skin and treat and prevent the signs of ageing. It restores the skin by replenishing the building blocks that our skin loses as we age. The product contains naturally occurring amino acids and hyaluronic acid that stimulates the synthesis of collagen, elastin and extracellular matrix (the liquid that keeps your skin cells young and healthy), vital ingredients in restoring skin elasticity and volume. Your skin will appear thicker and less translucent, whilst wrinkles appear reduced.

How does Sunekos work?

Sunekos contains the exact combination of proteins needed to stimulate skin cells to repair and reboot themselves. Hyaluronic acid creates a cushion under the skin, creating smoother and plumper skin.

Is Sunekos for me?

Sunekos is an excellent choice for people who wish to maintain a more natural look or those who do not want anti-wrinkle treatments or fillers. While anti-wrinkle treatments address the wrinkles created by the movement of facial muscles and fillers can fill skin crevices and folds, Sunekos gains a more youthful result by working with the skin’s natural base. It is also very useful to use in conjunction with other treatments such as Botox and fillers, to improve the quality of your skin.

How many treatments are required?

For optimum results 3 treatments are advised, each treatment being 7-10 days apart. Each treatment takes approximately 25 minutes.

    Sunekos can treat various indications, including; loss of tone, skin ageing and premature skin ageing, skin dryness, solar elastosis (the yellow and thickened as a result of sun damage), acne scarring, sun damage, dark circles under the eyes and fine lines and wrinkles.

  • The procedure has no downtime and the patient can immediately continue as normal. Sunekos acts in a physiological way.

    The standard protocol for the face consists of numerous injections; you will start to see some improvement after the first session.

  • Depending on the patients and their skin conditions, results can last for up to 6 months before repeating the procedure.
